Coral Springs is looking for children to lead meetings at City Commission

Coral Spring, Florida  – Coral Springs is searching for students of all ages to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at City Commission meetings.
All students from elementary, middle, and high schools – from both, public and private schools, who either live or attend Coral Springs’ schools – are eligible to participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
City Commission meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The pledge used today was largely devised by Francis Bellamy in 1892, and formally adopted by Congress in 1942.
