Three injured due to turbulence on flight from Orlando to Salt Lake City

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Delta spokesperson said that turbulence on a flight from Orlando to Salt Lake City on Friday afternoon resulted in the injuries of three passengers.

According to the spokesperson, there was moderate turbulence while Delta flight 394 was flying over Arkansas.

The plane was able to land safely in Salt Lake City, but a spokesperson said that three people had “unknown” injuries to an “unknown” extent.

According to the spokesperson, the three injured were treated at the airport by paramedics. He stated that two were released and one was sent to the hospital.

According to Delta’s website, there were six staff members and 143 passengers on board the flight that lasted around four and a half hours.
