Scott Brook Re-Elected for 4th Term as Mayor of Coral Springs

Mayor Scott J. Brook was re-elected on Friday uncontested and will serve his fourth term as mayor over the course of 14 years.

“I’m thrilled and honored to be re-elected as mayor and to have the support of our amazing community,” said Brook.

Brook won the seat in March of 2019, finishing the term of the late Mayor Skip Campbell.  He also served as the city’s mayor from 2006 to 2010  and city commissioner from 2002-2006.  The term is for two years.
A graduate of Tulane University in 1985, Brook remained at Tulane to obtain an M.B.A. on a fellowship. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992. As a member of the Florida Bar, Brook has practiced successfully before the Florida Supreme Court, the First District Court of Appeal, the Judges of Compensation Claims of the tri-county area, as well as the Dade and Broward State Courts. Brook is also a private mediator.
A family law attorney, Brook works out of his office in Coral Springs, where he handles divorce, custody, domestic violence, and restraining orders. He is a 22-year resident and lives in Mariner’s Cove with his wife and children.

“I want to continue seeking unity in the community and have a balanced approach to the crisis in the community,” he said, adding, “I am committed to public safety and helping businesses thrive.”
