97% of people 12 and older have at least one vaccination in one zip code
Coral Springs, Florida – According to the latest data from the Florida Department of Health, in one Coral Springs/Parkland zip code, 97 percent of people 12 and older have received at least one vaccination.
In the past month as new Covid-19 and Delta variance cases are surging across Florida, four zip codes serving Coral Springs have seen a continued increase in vaccinations.
In those four zip codes, the percent of people ages 12 and older who have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine went up by 6-9 percent between July 20 and Aug. 17. The data does not include school-based vaccinations.
According to the latest data, as of Aug. 17, shows that the 33076 zip code (which includes Parkland) had the highest percent vaccinated with at least one dose: 97 percent (up from 90 percent on July 20).
The lowest was the 33067 zip code (which includes Parkland) with 72 percent (up from 66 percent on July 20).

33065 (population: 51,921): 81 percent on Aug. 17 (up from 72 percent on July 20)
33071 (population: 36,964): 87 percent on Aug. 17 (up from 78 percent on July 20)
According to the state health department, 77 percent of people 12 and older in Broward County has received at least one dose of a vaccine as of Aug. 17.
In Florida, 13,440,380 people, or 62 percent of the population, have received at least one dose of a vaccine as of Aug. 22.
And in the United States, 200,947,556 people, or 61 percent, have received at least one dose of a vaccine as of Aug. 21.
According to the latest data from the Florida Department of Health, which was released Friday, Florida reported 150,118 new COVID-19 cases in the past week, a decrease from the 151,468 new cases a week earlier.
The statewide new-case positivity rate increased for the ninth week, reached 19.8%, according to the data.
