Pedestrian hit in Hendry County fatal crash

CLEWISTON, Fla. — A pedestrian has been pronounced dead after being hit by a sedan Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), at 8:30 p.m. a sedan was traveling on North Quebrada Avenue, south of Del Sur Avenue. A pedestrian was in the area of North Quebrada Avenue.

The sedan then hit the pedestrian sending him to the west shoulder of North Quebrada Avenue where the 68-year-old Clewiston man was pronounced dead, FHP said.

This crash remains under investigation.
