Fire at Health Park Medical Center caused by construction
FORT MYERS, Fla. — According to the Lee County Fire Department, part of the Health Park Medical Center caught on fire.
The fire was located in the wall caused by construction on the 2nd floor of the main building. Part of the ER and lobby were evacuated as a result of the fire.
The fire was contained and extinguished with assistance from Fort Myers Beach Fire & Lee County EMS, and normal hospital operations resumed.
