According to Florida’s health department reports, there is an increase of 1,874 COVID-19 cases Tuesday. After the state added 1,606 new cases Monday, the smallest daily jump in cases was measured since October.
Since the outbreak began, Florida has now verified 2,313,815 COVID-19 cases.
The number of resident deaths in Florida tied to COVID-19 is 36,581 after 80 more were reported Tuesday in the latest health department data. The number of non-residents died in the state with COVID is 735.
The authorities reports 17 Coronavirus-related deaths in Miami-Dade County, 9 in Broward County and 2 in Palm Beach County.
Total number of hospitalized residents attributed to the novel coronavirus in the state is 94,401.
At least 10,075,311 people have received COVID-19 vaccines in Florida, with 8,038,941 people in the state fully vaccinated.
Yesterday’s testing shows that statewide positivity rate was 3.75%.
