Launch of SpaceX’s Starlink rocket scheduled for the evening
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The next round of Starlink satellites is going to be loaded onto a Falcon 9 rocket that SpaceX plans to try to launch on Tuesday.
The corporation is aiming for 10:10 o’clock in the evening to prepare Space Flight Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for an upcoming launch. There is a second chance available on Wednesday in case the first one falls through.
As part of SpaceX’s expanding Starlink satellite internet system, the rocket will launch 54 Starlink satellites into orbit. These satellites will provide internet service.
The first part of the rocket will try to land on a droneship somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
According to the 45th Weather Squadron’s estimate, there is a sixty percent chance that the launch will take place as scheduled on Tuesday night.
This is the third launch of SpaceX’s Starlink service in the last two weeks. On Saturday, there was another launch, and there was also a launch on the 4th of September.
