New playground in Coral Springs planned to meet the needs of children in the community

Coral Springs, Florida –According to the organizers, the playground outside of Heron Bay Commons Clubhouse mirrored the needs of the community. It is one of the recently opened playgrounds in Coral Springs with: wheelchair accessibility, artificial grass, and a lot more features.
“Our kids have endured so much mental duress during the pandemic, and we wanted them to go out and play again,” said Michelle Brown, who was part of a resident and homeowners association committee that planned the project.
“My kids come here all the time, and they are in constant motion,” said Brown, who owns CrossFit Vice with her husband, Justin, in Coral Springs.
According to Neil Vogel, president of Heron Bay Community Association, the playground is built in about three months and replaced an older playground that was close to 20 years – is going to expand in the coming years.
“This was all about the kids,” Vogel said.
Vogel said the playground was planned to meet the needs of children in the community.
According to Alexander Minevich, a board member of the Heron Bay Community Association, the playground was built to accommodate all children, especially those in wheelchairs.
“It’s really cool looking,” Minevich said.
