Coral Glades picked up an impressive win over Coral Springs High School

Coral Springs, Utah – Thursday night in a matchup between two city rivals in their season kick-off, Coral Glades picked up an impressive 42-6 win over Coral Springs High School .
Beating new Coach Ian Headley and the Colts, the Jaguars won for the fourth time in the past six years.
The win meant a lot for Head Coach Cam Thomas and his team. “It feels great,” Coach Thomas said, “We haven’t beat them in the past nine games. We took this game personally because we didn’t get to play them last season.”
Jojo Rispoli rushed for a touchdown while Tyrique Gordon scored for Coral Springs on a pass from Elijah DeCastro.
In the second quarter, the Jaguars went off and scored three times to open their lead up to 27-6. It started with Rispoli running for another touchdown before Christian Garnett threw two of his three touchdown passes. Joshua Guerin caught both scores in the first half from 26 and 22 yards away. In the second half, Garnett connected with Joell Holmes from 34 yards to extend the lead.
Kyle Nelson added a rushing touchdown, and Carlton Boggs had a safety to round out the scoring for the Jaguars. Newcomer Richie Maston, who shined in the kickoff classic last week with three extra points and a field goal from 35-yards out, added three more extra points before Nicholas McCarthy connected on a pair.
On Friday, September 3, the Jaguars will play Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School . On September 9, Coral Springs will be back at their own field for their home opener against Coconut Creek High School.
