Authorities issue Silver Alert for missing Lake County man with dementia

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – The man, who is 69 years old and was last seen leaving his house in Minneola on Tuesday evening, is the subject of an active search by deputies from Lake County.

Rodger Stambaugh, 69, left his house located at 825 Elm Forrest Drive at around 7:15 p.m., and deputies have said in a statement that they have not seen or heard from him since then.

The press statement states that Stambaugh was just given a diagnosis of dementia, and it is expected that he will be driving his black 2020 Kia Soul hatchback with a temporary license tag reading “DGD5348.”

According to the deputies, Stambaugh had a height of 6 feet and 1 inch, a weight of around 170 pounds, and green eyes. According to the announcement, he has gray hair, a gray beard, and a gray mustache. In addition, he is balding.
