Domestic violence incident in Plantation left two people dead

PLANTATION, Fla. – According to the Plantation Police Department, two people passed away as a result of a domestic violence incident that took place on Friday in Plantation.

Officers from the Police Department and members of the Fire Rescue Department were sent to an apartment located in the gated community of Arium Siena Cove, which is located west of University Drive.

A portion of the parking lot of the building located at 8038 Northwest 10th Street was cordoned off by law enforcement personnel with yellow crime scene tape. Additionally, there were portions of crime scene tape in the back of the property, which faced a canal.

There were three police officers stationed throughout the building, with two of them stationed at the front door and one at the back. A crime scene investigator used a ladder to reach the first-floor window of the building so that they could take pictures.
