Broward Schools in process of redistricting for School Board Members
Coral Springs, Florida – According to Broward County Public Schools, they are in process of redistricting the seven Board Member voting areas within the county.
Every ten years after the census is taken and recorded, the redistricting occurs to balance the seven districts within the county so that population balance is achieved between the districts.
In District 4, Lori Alhadeff is representing Coral Springs, Parkland, Tamarac, North Lauderdale, and part of Margate.
To ensure that the public’s voice can be heard Two public meetings will be held as part of the redistricting process.
