Safely dispose of important paperwork at Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – The City of Coral Springs and Coral Springs Police will be hosting their next shredathon, where items will be safely destroyed.
Keeping personal paperwork with account and PINs along with other sources of identification could lead to identity theft. Avoid becoming a victim by bringing any personal documents on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This event is for city residents.
Those who participate must place their drivers’ licenses on their front dashboard and are limited to 4 file-size cardboard boxes or reusable bins per vehicle. Plastic/garbage bags will not be accepted. Residents must ensure there is no trash or other items such as plastic or metal rings, binders, or clamps in the boxes.
Boxes and bins cannot be larger than 15 x 12 x 10 and must be in the trunk or in an area easily accessible to ensure no interaction with event staff.
Once the maximum allotment has been reached, no other paperwork will be accepted. In addition, no extra boxes will be accepted for donations.
The Sportsplex is located at 2575 Sportsplex Drive, Coral Springs.
