City takes to the skies reminding residents recycling is back

Coral Springs, Florida – In order to get the message out about recycling, the City of Coral Springs is taking to the skies.
On Saturday, December 11, and Saturday, December 18, a banner plane will be flying over the entire region of Coral Springs during peak hours between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., weather permitting, reading: Recycling is Back!
The goal is to send residents to the Dos & Dont’s of recycling, according to Lynne Martzall, Director of Communications & Marketing.
Waste Pro has paid for the banner planes directly at the cost of $2,020 for each flight.
Recycling resumed in the city On Nov. 1. An official recycling audit will take place in January to determine the cost of continuing recycling in Coral Springs.
“We are committed to ensuring everyone knows that curbside recycling has resumed, and residents must do their part to help clean up recycling,” said Martzall. “We hope residents will help us spread the message to neighbors to recycle right.”
