Deadline for voter registration for the midterm elections ends on October 11

There is one more day for Floridians to register to vote. Our state does not have same-day registration, as do 21 other states, which permits eligible voters to register and vote on the same day during early voting.

Tuesday, October 11 is the deadline for new Floridians, those who will be 18 by Election Day, and those who have never voted in the state before.

Additional crucial election dates for voters:

  • Oct. 29 – Nov. 5: Early voting period. Some counties may offer additional early voting days starting Oct. 24.
  • Nov. 8, Election Day: Final day to vote in Florida’s general election.
