Paris Ballet and Dance bring “The Nutcracker” to Palm Beach
During the weekend of November 19–20, 2022, Paris Ballet and Dance will bring The Nutcracker to Palm Beach with performances at the Eissey Campus Theatre (12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. both days).
The full-length performance shows off the talents of hundreds of young dancers between the ages of 3 and 18. It is set to famous music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
The classic ballet recounts the story of a little girl named Clara who receives a miraculous Nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. The tale is based on the Alexandre Dumas version of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 tale “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Her beloved Nutcracker comes to life as a genuine, gorgeous prince who leads her on an incredible journey through the tremendously brilliant and magnificent Land of Snow and Kingdom of Sweets after she confronts and defeats the Rat King.
