Police find 11 firearms in Miami Beach home of man wanted in the assault with a firearm
West Park, Florida – On Wednesday a law enforcement team found 11 firearms, bullets, high capacity magazines, ballistic vests with rifle plates, and oxycodone in Risson Beaubrun’s house.
According to the Miami Beach Police Department, a 27-year-old Beaubrun, and three others were wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm in Miami Beach. Officers arrested the other three in Aventura, Miramar, and Pembroke Pines.
Officers arrested Beaubrun on July 15 at 112 Newton Rd. There was a convicted felon inside the house who was also arrested, according to Miranda Grossman, a spokeswoman for BSO.
The Miami Beach Police Department worked with the BSO SWAT/Fugitive Task Force and the Violence Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response unit, also known as VIPER, and the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Taskforce.
According to Broward County court records, Beaubrun was born in Port au Prince, Haiti, and he has a pending Jan. 22 third-degree felony case for carrying a concealed firearm. He was also accused of driving with a suspended license.
The court record of the case in Miami-Dade County was not yet available on Wednesday afternoon.
