Reward offered for information leading to arrest of Florida man wanted in in Jan. 6 riot

A reward of up to $30,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for attacking police officers during the riot on January 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C.

According to a press statement issued by the FBI on Friday, Jonathan Pollock, 23, faces several federal counts for using a dangerous weapon against police officers. Initially, a prize of $15,000 was offered and it has now been increased to $30,000.

“Mr. Pollock is a fugitive. We are asking the public to provide information on his whereabouts so that we can safely bring him in to answer to the charges against him,” FBI Tampa Special Agent in Charge David Walker said in a statement.

Pollock is said to have acquaintances and relatives throughout Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, in addition to central and northern Florida. According to law authorities, he is a welder and ironworker by profession and may be doing comparable construction work.

According to prior reports, the Department of Justice said that Pollock, dressed in MultiCam camouflage with “distinctive military morale patches” on the front, can be seen climbing over other fallen rioters to continue hitting police. Images inside the indictment seem to show him attacking and striking cops before seizing another by the neck and pushing him to the ground.

Since last summer, law enforcement has been seeking for Pollock.

If you have any information on Pollock’s whereabouts, please contact the FBI Tampa Field Office at (813) 253-1000. You may also submit information at tips.fbi.gov.
