Three people hospitalized after a shooting incident

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An incident that took place on the westside of Jacksonville on Saturday night resulted in injuries to several people.

The Jacksonville Police Department responded after a man in his late teens and a woman in her early 30s arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds.

At around the same time, police were called to another hospital, where they found a young woman who had been hit in the head with a baseball bat.

The investigators found that the two incidents were connected to one another. The fight broke out in the 6700 block of Romana Boulevard. The authorities think that several suspects opened fire and started hitting the victims before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
